In the large round shaft of Fort IJmuiden are hanging from 2 meters above the ground to 8 meters high a network of steel wires in a triangular spiral to which 48 cooking pans are fixed. In each pan is a plastic box in which a chip, piezo and a solar cell is mounted.
This installation produces continually changing patterns of sound and the loudness depends of the quantity of sunlight.
